I almost didn’t write this post.

All week, this is what’s been going through my head:

It’s been hot.
I’ve been tired.
I’ve been using a lot of creative energy for other projects.
I didn’t have time.
I wasn’t inspired.
I didn’t like any of the ideas in my Swipe File.
It’s been really fucking hot. Did I say that?
I could just take the week off.
Maybe nobody will notice.
What value do my words have anyway? (oof – brains are tricky tricksters aren’t they?)
I really need to do _______ first.
I’m not launching anything right now (although the Motorcycle Club doors are open for you).

But ultimately what it came down to is this:

Can I take a week off of marketing? Can you? Sure! But that’s not the point.

The point is, I like you. I like writing to you. I like sharing my thoughts with you. And I like telling you what’s going on in my brain and in my business.

That’s all that marketing is. Showing up, sharing, connecting, reflecting, and doing it again.

Here’s what’s happening in my world:

I was on the Making Good Podcast with Lauren Tilden and that was freaking awesome. We talked about Regenerative Business Design, boundaries, marketing, and so much more.

As we head into summer, there are 2 ways to work with me:

  1. Join me in the Motorcycle Club. We’ll meet every other week (including 2 guest expert sessions) and you’ll have access to the resource library 24/7. If you thrive on ongoing accountability and support, this is your space.
  2. If you need a bigger push in the right direction, let’s book a Spark Intensive. These VIP Days are bookended with support to get you aligned and accountable. In the heat of the summer, there’s really nothing like a firehose to boost your energy.

Now it’s your turn. What goes on in your brain when you don’t wanna be marketing?
